I am a:
- Longtime homeschooling mom (started in Kindergarten and graduated older son May 2026, younger son will graduate in 2028!),
- former classroom teacher (6.5 years of teaching mostly 2nd grade in inner city Nashville),
- thrifty budget-conscious shopper (as a one-income homeschooling family, I kinda have to be!)
- and life long book lover! (I come by it honestly, you should have seen my dad's book collection! It's not hoarding if it's books, right?)
When I was younger I always wanted to work in a bookstore or be a children's librarian, but instead I spent nearly 14 years as a consultant for Usborne Books & More/PaperPie (cheaper than a master's degree!). I had so much fun doing booths and book fairs in my area and connecting with customers and fellow homeschoolers!
Once my bookselling and homeschooling seasons were winding down, the Lord knew my desire to stay connected to those areas and He led me to OPEN A BOOKSTORE!
Specifically a Used Homeschool Curriculum Consignment Store! (Very niche, I KNOW!)

- To help my customers add to their budgets by selling their used curriculum in an easy, convenient, hassle free way!
- To offer a wide variety of quality homeschooling resources at affordable prices.
- To give encouragement and support to all who enter my store on their homeschooling journey!
This business will be a family endeavor whether it is my older son being tech support, my younger son helping with tasks around the shop or my husband's patient support and undying love. So thankful to be on this journey with my family and with all of my friends and customers!
